Student Government / Student Council
St. Francis Student Government/Student Council is a member of the National Association of Student Councils (www.nasc.us/NASCConferencesandPrograms), the Florida Association of Student Councils (www.fasa.net) District 2 and the Southern Association of Student Councils.
Our goal is to encourage student participation in Student Government on a school level i.e. Class Officers, Honor Societies and Clubs. As we continue to grow, our participation will include the district and state levels.
Our Student Government organizes projects such as Freshman Orientation, Wolf Howl, Homecoming Parade, Homecoming Dance, Red Ribbon Week, Catholic School’s week, Open House Tours and Powder Puff. They also plan class sponsored fundraisers; St. Francis Coffee Sales, Santa Grams, Valentine Candy Grams, Easter Egg Surprises and more.
All of our student organizations attend and participate in SGA meetings which are held every first & third Wednesday each month.
St. Francis Student Council meets once a month and is responsible for the approval of funds, on campus fundraisers and activities.
We continue to teach our young students the importance of leadership, responsibility, spirituality and personal growth. We are committed to Service, Faith, Community, Honor and Scholarship. Fides, Scientia, et Virtus
