Applying as a Freshman for the 2012-2013 School Year
If you are an Incoming 9th grader, our Admissions process is as follows:
- Submit the 2012-2013 SFCHS Admission application with fee to the St. Francis office. Applications available online or download the PDF version
- All incoming freshmen are required to take the High School Placement Test (HSPT) as part of the application process. Please call the front office (352-376-6545) to register your student for the Friday, March 23, 2012 at 8:15 AM test date.
Students must bring on the day of the test:

- Two sharpened #2 pencils
- No calculators
- Test fee of $40; Make checks payable to SFCHS
- Once you have submitted your application along with middle school records (Grad 6, 7, and 8 transcripts, teacher recommendations on file for 9th grade placement, most recent standardized tests) and have taken the HSPT, the Admissions Committee will review the student’s application.
- Letters of acceptance will be mailed with information regarding the registration process.
- Upon receiving your acceptance letter, please follow the directions in the letter to make your registration appointment. Freshman Registration for the Class of 2016 is by appointment only.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Freshman Registration will take place during the week of March 5 – March 8, 2012.
