Applying as a Freshman for the 2012-2013 School Year

If you are an Incoming 9th grader, our Admissions process is as follows:

 

  1. Submit the 2012-2013 SFCHS Admission application with fee to the St. Francis office.  Applications available online or download the PDF version
  2. All incoming freshmen are required to take the High School Placement Test (HSPT) as part of the application process.  Please call the front office (352-376-6545) to register your student for the Friday, March 23, 2012 at 8:15 AM test date.

Students must bring on the day of the test:

    • Two sharpened #2 pencils
    • No calculators
    • Test fee of $40; Make checks payable to SFCHS
  1. Once you have submitted your application along with middle school records (Grad 6, 7, and 8 transcripts, teacher recommendations on file for 9th grade placement, most recent standardized tests) and have taken the HSPT, the Admissions Committee will review the student’s application.
  2. Letters of acceptance will be mailed with information regarding the registration process.
  3. Upon receiving your acceptance letter, please follow the directions in the letter to make your registration appointment.  Freshman Registration for the Class of 2016 is by appointment only.

 

IMPORTANT NOTE:  Freshman Registration will take place during the week of March 5 – March 8, 2012.
