Academics

St. Francis Catholic High School has a college preparatory curriculum and follows the graduation and teacher certification statutes of the State of Florida as well as the requirements of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. SFCHS is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.

St. Francis Catholic High School will offer Honors, Advanced Placement and limited Dual Enrollment as warranted by student registration and course criteria requirements.

Twenty-eight credits are required for graduation, as well as 80 hours of community service and a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0.

Corporate Tax Scholarships and financial aid will be available.

Graduation subject area requirements will be:

  • 4 Credits in Religion
  • 4 Credits in English
  • 4 Credits in Mathematics
  • 4 Credits in Social Science
  • 3 Credits in Science  
  • 2 Credits in Foreign Language
  • 1 Credit in Performing/Practical Arts
  • 1 Credit in Life Management Skills/Personal Fitness
  • 5 Credits of Electives chosen from the previous Subject areas.
